As I am writing this, we are in the midst of thunderstorms and more rain coming down than we have seen in several years. It does make taking care of all the animals a bit of a challenge, specially the broodmares and yearlings as well as having calves born. However, every cloud has a silver lining. The moisture will provide pastures for the livestock this year. And maybe, just maybe we will have a wheat crop. That would be fantastic. But while I consider the doom and gloom of cloudy skies and all the thunder and rain, I am sure some of you may be experiencing your own “rainy days” as well.
